Cracker Barrel Sacto and Konditorei Austrian Pastry Davis April 23, 2019

Three of us head to Sacramento and the Tennessee chain restaurant, Cracker Barrel for lunch.  After which we will go to Davis for dessert at Konditorei Austrian Pastry. 
It's just the three founding members of Gobo's Lunch Bunch Elsa, Caroline and me. 

All of us have been to Cracker Barrels before but finally there is one that is less than 700 miles from home.

We were seated as we arrive since we have waited a number of months to let the "newness" of this one to wear off plus we are there at 11:30AM.

The gals settle on the Daily Lunch Special of Meatloaf and I opt for breakfast and the Country Fried Steak and Eggs.

After eating lunch we do a little shopping in the Country Store area.

The gals buy clothes.

I buy food.  hehe

Then we take the 20 mile drive to Konditorei Austrian Pastry in Davis.

The breakfast items like Danish and Coffee Cakes are pretty much sold out.

Kingston 11 Oakland, CA Feb 12, 2019

It's Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  The founding three members of Gobo's Lunch Bunch are headed to Oakland to have a Jamaican lunch at Kingston 11.

It's a bit chilly and the place has not heated up yet as we are there at the opening time of 11:00 AM.

 My order (only a half is showing) the Jerk Chicken Sandwich with French Fries.

A traditional Jamaican dish - Salt Fish and Cabbage with Sweet Potato Wedges.

This was Grandma's order but she and I went half - half on our orders.

We are getting old.  No one had room for dessert.  :-(
